So today, I'm going to share some tips on how to take good scenery photography that I learned from my own experience and study. It's okay without expensive equipment like DSLRs or mirrorless! Let's find out together how to get a good enough result with a smartphone. So, shall we get started? ✨

The first step in landscape photography, understanding the light 🌅

Have you heard that photography is the art of capturing light? Light is especially important in landscape photography. It is much more advantageous to use the light-soft time zone than the light-strong midday. This is where the famous Golden Hour

appears!

💡 What is prime time?
It refers to the time of day just before sunrise and immediately after sunset. During this time, the light is soft and has a warm color, so you can get an emotional and beautiful result in any scenery. Make active use of the bluish light of early morning, the red and yellow light of sunset!

The force of simple composition 📐

What good photographers have in common is that they make good use of simple but powerful compositions, not complicated ones. Knowing a few compositions commonly used in landscape photography improves your photography completeness. Let me introduce you to some of the compositions I enjoy using!

Three-division composition:This is a method of drawing an imaginary line that divides the screen into three by three, and placing the main elements of the landscape at the point where the lines intersect. If you place people, horizontal lines, etc. along the lines, it feels much more stable. Using the Leading Line: It is a composition that utilizes lines that lead the gaze, such as roads, fences, and rivers. As you follow this line, it naturally directs your eyes to the subject of the picture. Symmetric composition: It is effective when capturing the same landscape as the reflection on the lake. You can create a stable composition while giving a static feeling.
⚠️ Be warned!
It's better to put the horizon or horizon at a third point above or below according to the three-division law than at the center of the picture.
